The Travels are beginning

Welcome to my Travel BLOG.

My adventures are set to begin January 3rd, 2006. Though I do not have any current postings to log as of yet (still getting organized), I will post shortly and update on how things are going.

Beyond that, preliminary planning is done (ie. I’m beyond the talking staging and into the “doing” stage). I've booked my tickets and am heading to Thailand and Japan with the boys. I've been all over Europe (ok..maybe not all over Europe but you know) and now's my time to visit South East Asia. Dan and Arn (the guys I'm traveling with) have already been to Australia and New Zealand, places I will definitely visit sometime in my life. Generally we have a blast and the three of us together on a normal Friday night = crazy night out. The three if us together in Thailand = gong show!! So what do I want to do on my trip?? Well, just three things really:

1. See some temples


2. Go on a trek


3. Get in some beach action


4. **Ok...and maybe see Akiabra (I think that's how it's spelled) in Japan; i think that's the name of the hi-tech shopping area in Tokyo. Harvey wants to buy some gadgets!

Dan and Arn are pretty good at planning (and I'm Mr. last minute planner). The guys have some good ideas on places to visit. I'll tag along where I can but as much as Dan and I have chatted, things are open. As long as there is at least 3 days of nothing but beach, gym, swimming, eating, and more beach...dhen I is ok wid dhat!!
